A joyful moment unfolds as outgoing and incoming leaders join hands to cut the cake, celebrating the AGM handover with enthusiasm

The 2025 MEDSAM Annual General Meeting brought together medical students from all departments for a successful transition of leadership, engagement on student welfare, and the celebration of outstanding achievements. The event was marked by vibrant participation, including representatives from the Research Club, SSK, NRHS, and a MEDSAM alumnus.

The meeting featured key reports from outgoing officials, with the EOC Chair, Dr. Dennis Omondi, delivering the election report and officiating the oath-taking ceremony for the newly elected executive.
The incoming Chairperson, Erick Omondi, gave his inaugural address, pledging to build on the foundation laid by his predecessors.

An energetic dance performance by medical student's dance crew (Surgical flow) adds a lively touch to the AGM handover event, showcasing their talents and school spirit.

A highlight of the AGM was the launch of the Medschool Hall of Fame, an initiative recognizing students excelling in leadership, academics, innovation, community service, and talent. Awards and certificates were presented to the honorees.

The Chief Guest, though unavailable, shared his message through a written speech read by the MEDSAM Chairperson. The event concluded with cake cutting, closing remarks, and networking over lunch. It set a strong tone for a new era of holistic, student-centered leadership.
